Learning & Teaching
Free classroom tools that work in any subject. They're built around the four-phase lesson: a starter, a clear learning intention and success criteria, checking for understanding as you teach, and a plenary.
Nothing is stored online. Class lists stay on this device, and show-me boards vanish when you end them.
Show-me boards Live
Pupils draw or type on their iPads and you see every board live on your screen. Show one on the projector, send a question or picture to every board, or call pens down.
Pupils go to mrkellydt.co.uk/board, or scan the QR code, then type your room code.
Pose, pause, pounce, bounce
Pose the question to everyone, give thinking time, pick someone to answer, then bounce to someone else to agree, disagree or build on it. No one is picked twice until everyone has had a turn.
Uses your class list (below).
Class list
One first name per line. It's used by pose-pause-pounce-bounce and random groups, and stays on this device only.

How to write a learning intention and success criteria
The learning intention (WALT, "what we are learning today") says what pupils are learning, not what they are doing. Write it with know, understand or be able to, so it is clear whether the lesson is about knowledge, understanding or a skill. For example: "We are learning about the structure of an atom, specifically to know…", followed by the specific focus. "Complete the questions on page 45" is an activity, not a learning intention.
The success criteria (WILF, "what I'm looking for") describe the evidence that will show the learning has happened. Write them as "I can…" statements with verbs you can see or hear: state, write, describe, explain, draw. Never use "I know" or "I understand", because they are not evidence. Be specific, and use numbers with "at least" where it helps, such as "I can describe at least three causes of…". For a skill, the criteria can instead list the key features of a good piece of work.
Every lesson has one, including practice and revision lessons. Share them out loud and on screen; pupils don't need to copy them down. Come back to them during the lesson and in the plenary.
Based on Adam Boxer's A five-minute guide to learning intention & success criteria (The Teaching Delusion).
Your description is sent to an AI model run by Cloudflare to write a draft. Don't include pupils' names or personal details. Always check the draft before using it.
Timer
A big countdown for the board, or think-pair-share with each stage timed.
Random groups
Split your class list into random groups and show them on the board.
QR code
Turn any link into a QR code so pupils can open it on their iPads.
